In 1986 these ten areas of concern were selected as focus points for The Future Is Now World Peace Celebration (FIN) - they form a "complex" of dynamic interrelated human activities that cannot be separated out from one another.
If your primary concern is art then you will also be involved in communications and education. Scientific and technological advances influence the choices of media, for instance the Impressionist revolution in the visual arts was enabled because oil paints became available in tubes that freed the artist from preparing their own paints in the studio and let them work outside, catching the impression of light at different times of day.
As a means of self selection and organization we ask participants in Collegium Spiritus, Center for Global Community and FIN activities to choose their primary concern along with two areas that they find supportive of their primary choice. The combinations create a network of energy - a synergy - that is more than the sum of the parts.
“Ah, the creative process is the same secret in science as it is in art. They are all the same absolutely.” Josef Albers
