Adopt a Tree
At the center of the Heart Forest is a grove of 550 eastern red cedar trees planted in a grid pattern. Surrounding the cedars are concentric bands of flowering, shade and pine trees chosen for their color and texture at maturity.
We invite you to join with other individuals, families and groups by adopting a tree in the Heart of the Heart for $100. This gift to the generations is a perfect way to mark a special occasion or commemorate a life of a loved one.
Honorees or their families will receive a notification card recognizing the name of the donor(s) and the location of the tree in the Forest.
Donations can be sent directly to:
The Heart Forest Foundation,
c/o The Greater Kansas City Community Foundations
1055 Broadway, Ste 130
Kansas City, MO 64105 USA
The Heart Forest is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization and donations
are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

The EarthBead© is hand made, one at a time; just as there have been countless sunrises, each EarthBead is a little different and yet the same. Sculpted from polyform clay, the ocean currents, land masses, cloud formations, and polar caps are different colored clays and the heart is individually formed and carefully centered on the bead. Strung on a slender golden thread. $10 donation.
The EarthBead© was first conceived and made by Rae Petersen as a consciousness and fundraiser for the annual Future Is Now Peace Celebration in 1990.
