Phillip Silbernagel was born in Dutchess Co, New York. He was baptized in Round Top, New York, October 5, 1765. He married Catherine Simmons (or Simons). He lived at Copake, New York but later moved to Albany, NY.
Their children:
Elizabeth Silvernail b. June 8, 1783. She married twice 1) Peter Simmons b. Nov 21, 1809 s/o George or Jerehiah Simmons and Nancy or Hannah Silvernail. He was baptized in Churchtown, Columbia Co., NY. She married Grinold.
Nicholas Silvernail b. June 21, 1785 m. Elizabeth Cole. They lived in Ohio.
Bartis Silvernail b. September 21, 1787 m. Elizabeth. He was baptized in W Copake, NY, October, 1787.
Peter Silvernail b. February 22, 1790. He married twice 1) Elizabeth Bentley 2) Mary Clark. Peter and Mary may have lived in Hudson, MI.
Conradt Silvernail b. September 21, 1793. He married Polly Miller b. January 19, 1796 in 1813. Polly died 1869 at 73 years of age.
William Silvernail b. June 28, 1797 married Christina Miller. William d. February 11, 1877 at 79 years of age.
Daniel Silvernail b. April 22, 1800 and married 1) Polly King and 2) Dorcas Soudder (Scudder). He lived in Indiana.
John Silvernail b. April 15, 1803. He married twice 1) Polly Ann Clark b. July 22, 1807, d. March 16, 1840 at 32 years of age; 2) Serepta Colvin. John may have married a third time. He lived at Hudson, Michigan.
