A Guide to Our Policies and Other Tidbits of Information
The Global PathMarkers-
The Global PathMarker series is an eclectic group of people who were chosen as exemplars of the ‘great individual’ or hero archetype, the essential seed and fruit of creative activity in culture. Our aim is to stimulate curiosity and contemplation about the mysterious creative ‘oneness’ of life by celebrating its diversity as expressed by courageous visionary leaders. Albert Einstein’s portrait by Frank Szasz was our first Global PathMarker. Szasz also painted our Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul II, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and Mark Twain, as well as Eleanor Roosevelt, Albert Schweitzer, Count Basie, Sarah Vaughan, Franz Liszt, Pope John XXIII, and a series of Native Americans: Iroquois Chief Leon Shenandoah, Mohawk Chief Jake Swamp, Tom Banyacya of the Hopi, Black Elk as an Elder, a Medicine Woman, a Dancer, a Youth and a Young Child for the Global PathMarkers that we have available in a special limited edition of biographical bookmarks. We are also pleased to offer Szasz' portrait of Carl Gustav Jung, published by CCHD Jung Project, KCMO. The Maria Montessori portrait was painted by Ernst Ulmer. All of the Global PathMarkers images are copyrighted and all rights are reserved. Please contact us to put a Global PathMarker image on your site- we request a link back to www.creativeprocess.net, acknowledgement of the artist, and the text "name of individual" image courtesy of The Creative Process.
The quotes that accompany the portraits were chosen by the founder and president of The Creative Process, Fred Culver, as succinct expressions of each person’s deepest meaning, based on his study and understanding of their philosophy. He also wrote the text for the biographical bookmarks.
The Global PathMarker series will never be complete and new images will be added as we are able. Please contact us with your suggestions or for more information about any of our services.

The Creative Process searches the web for posters and art prints to supplement our Global PathMarker selection and give you the best choices for your searching time and dollars. When we find the same poster is available at several sources you can check for price comparison, special discounts, framing options and shipping from the links at Creative Process. Please note that we only have our own publications- the Global PathMarker poster art prints, notecards and biographical bookmarks in stock, we do not stock the other posters, they are available online at the links provided.

You can also email your selections to us and request we call you for your credit card information. DO NOT email your credit card number.
Shipping and handling charges are added to all orders. We ship “best way”, usually USPS Priority Mail in their sturdy mailing containers. In some cases the UPS or FedEx could be the “best way”.
Charges are calculated at 10% of the total merchandise purchase, with a minimum charge of $8.00 for the continental United States. For orders of $250.00 or more, ground shipping is calculated at 5% of total.
International and special requests for guaranteed overnight or 2nd day service will incur extra charges. Please call 1-816-756-0099, or email, for shipping charges.
DELIVERY TIME
Our aim is to ship credit card orders within 48 hours after we receive the order. Orders paid with checks (business, personal and money orders) will be filled when the checks have cleared your bank. If you are planning on having the Global PathMarker print framed as a gift at your favorite framer, our recommendation is to allow 2 to 3 weeks for shipping and framing.
SALES TAX/INTERNATIONAL DUTIES
State law requires us to collect sales tax on orders shipped Missouri addresses. Our current sales tax is 7.350% of the merchandise order. If you are tax exempt in Missouri (a school order for example), please provide us with your tax exempt number, and use the school address for shipping.
On international orders the applicable duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
We collect only enough data from you to verify and fill your order: name, address, credit card billing information and telephone number in case there is a problem. We use your email address to send confirmation on receiving your order and to send occasional announcements concerning creativeprocess.net. Please set your email to accept creativeprocess.net.
The Creative Process has never sent, nor ever will send, spam. We are, in fact, victimized twice by spammers- not only do we have to delete hundreds of emails a day from our computers, our domain, creativeprocess.net, is abused by a behavior called "spoofing." An email will appear originate with creativeprocess.net (or another innocent domain), but will in fact, be sent by someone else who has a program that hides their identity and uses ours. Please check out the links below for ideas about protecting your email address and computer from being used without your knowledge, reporting spam, and legal penalties.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will issue you a refund, credit or exchange for items returned to us in saleable condition. To insure proper credit, do not return any materials until you have received authorization to do so. Please make all returns in the original shipping container with packing material.
Please check your orders upon receipt! If there is a problem, contact our order department within 5 days of receipt to make arrangements for returning the items. We cannot be responsible for return shipping charges except where we made an error in the order.
Should you receive a shipment with obvious damage refuse shipment and notify us immediately, If you elect to accept a visibly damaged package, note "RECEIVED DAMAGED" on the carrier shipment documents.
We are in the process of implementing an affiliate program for the Global PathMarker images and products. This would mean links to Creative Process Global PathMarker products from your site would carry indentifying information by which we would track customers from your site and pay you a commission on purchases made because of that link. We have joined a number of affiliate programs to help you locate resources that are available for purchase on the Internet. Through affliliate programs we can offer books, educational toys, posters, videos, music CD's, magazines and art supplies that we find supportive of the creative process.
