  • American Association for Justice - to promote a fair and effective justice system – and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
  • Alliance for Justice - a national association of environmental, civil rights, mental health, women's, children's and consumer advocacy organizations working to advance the cause of justice for all Americans, strengthen the public interest community's ability to influence public policy, and foster the next generation of advocates.
  • Axis of Justice - to bring together musicians, fans of music, and grassroots political organizations to fight for social justice.
  • International Criminal Court - The ICC is an independent, permanent court of last resort that tries persons accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The ICC is based on a treaty, joined by 104 countries (not the U.S.). It will not act if a case is investigated or prosecuted by a national judicial system unless the national proceedings are not genuine, for example if formal proceedings were undertaken solely to shield a person from criminal responsibility.
  • International Justice Mission - International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery, and oppression.
  • Restorative Justice - is a theory of justice that emphasizes repairing the harm caused or revealed by criminal behaviour best accomplished through cooperative processes that include all stakeholders.
  • United States Department of Justice mission is to enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic; to provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.

The Creative Process

Justice was one of the ten areas of concern selected in 1986 as focus points for The Future Is Now World Peace Celebration - a "complex" of dynamic interrelated human activities that cannot be separated out from one another.
